You need to register for the Texas Free Lottery to be able to play. Start by selecting any of the ‘Register’, ‘Sign In’ or ‘Join’ buttons on the site.
It’s completely free to sign up and you only need to provide a few personal details – such as your name and email address. You’ll also get to choose a password and username to keep your account secure.
Once you’ve enlisted and agreed to the terms and conditions, you’ll be sent an email so you can verify your account (check your junk/spam mail if you can’t see this in your inbox). Click the verification link in the email and you’re ready to play. It’s that simple to enrol! No payment details or anything else as you don’t have to pay to play this Texas lottery game.
Remember that you can only have one player account, to keep the game fair so that everyone has an equal chance of winning.
To play the Texas Free Lottery, pick six numbers from 1 to 75. There’re two options available to you:
- Choose your own numbers from the grid of 1 - 75
- Select a Quick Pick and six numbers will be generated at random. It’s just one tap for an easy pick
After you’ve confirmed your selections, there’ll be a ticket in your account so you can see your numbers. This is your entry into the draw.
- Playing Daily Draws - You have to play before the cutoff time of 17:30 each day, with the daily results announced at 19:30.
- Playing Weekly Draws – Play before the cutoff time of 13:00 every Monday, with the Weekly Draw taking place two hours later at 15:00. You get an entry into your first weekly draw immediately after registering. After that, you need to take part in at least three Daily Draws from Monday to Sunday to be eligible to enter the next Weekly Draw.
If you miss the deadline, there’s a brief draw break before you can participate again in the next game. You can only get one ticket for each draw, as it’s a free game. There is no multi-draw option – log in to play one draw at a time.
Results and Winning
To land a prize, you need to match all six of the winning numbers. This requires your selections to be exactly the same as the numbers that are randomly selected for the drawing you have played. Even if just one number is different, you have not matched the full winning set and are not eligible for a prize.
There’s a $500 prize if you win the Daily Drawing, and a $10,000 jackpot for winning the Weekly Drawing. The money is shared if there are multiple victors, so you’d be rewarded with $5,000 if you were one of two players to win in the Weekly Draw.
It couldn’t be easier to check your Texas Free Lottery results. It’s the most exciting part of the whole process - examining the winning numbers to discover how many you have matched. As soon as you log on after a draw, your homepage will show your latest tickets and you’ll be able to see how they fared.
You can also use the Checker page to review your performances for the last 30 days - it will verify whether your selected numbers have been drawn. However, you need to check the results quickly in order to claim a prize. If you are a winner, you have two days to make a claim. All you need to do to start the claims process is to contact us. Go to the Winners Guide for more information about what you need to do.
